These photographs show details of much-loved weatherboard buildings at the Samford Commons site, near Samford Village. Unfortunately the Council deemed the buildings too expensive to restore so they were destroyed in late 2019 to make way for a new community hub building. I wanted to capture the textures and colours before the buildings went for good.
The images below are from Brisbane Powerhouse, an iconic building with all the patina of age (and some funky graffiti).
